The higher the NIT count the brighter and more vibrant the picture will be.
Indoor TVs are designed to be used in dim lighting, they have a lower NIT count and lower contrast than an outdoor TV. Both are important when you have your screen in bright light. Having a higher contrast will make the images clearer and crisper when you’re watching it outside.
